John F. Bolinder

John F. Bolinder passed away on June 25th, 2026, in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, at the age of 84. John was born on August 20th, 1941, in Springville, Utah to Walter Kesel Bolinder and Mildred Sarah (Mason) Bolinder. He married Jacqueline Dawn Hollingshead on November 17th, 1970. He enjoyed camping and fishing; getting to do these things with his family and friends brought him his greatest happiness. Outside of this, hard work was his life's hallmark. He worked two jobs for many years to support his family. When he wasn't working, John beautifully landscaped his yard and remodeled the house.

John is survived by his children: Kimberly Bolinder, Mark Bolinder, Jason Bolinder, and Andrea (Roger) Garcia. He also leaves behind two grandchildren he raised, Destiny Bolinder and Summer Postlethwait, as well as grandchildren Sara Glazier Frojen, Jena Glazier, Becca Glazier, Whitney Garcia, Dillon Garcia, Willow Garcia, Sam Garcia; great grandchildren, Liam Anderson, Brayden Savinsky, Asher Savinksy; and his sister, Millie Rasmussen.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mildred Bolinder; his wife, Jacqueline Dawn (Hollingshead) Bolinder; his children, John Brandon Bolinder and Shannon Leigh Bolinder; and his siblings, Earl Bolinder and Judy Sanders.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 18, at 9:30 AM at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery; 3115 Bengal Boulevard, Cottonwood Heights, Utah 84121. A light breakfast/lunch will be held after the graveside at Kimberly's home.
