Jose Manuel
Flores
January 16, 2002 – June 30, 2025
Jose Manuel Flores, age 23, passed away on June 30, 2025 in West Valley City. He was born on January 16, 2002 in Salt Lake City to Everardo Flores and Maria Simon.
Jose was the youngest of 3 and grew up in a very loving and tight knit family. As a kid, he spent lots of time vacationing in Mexico every year. He graduated from Kearns High school in 2020 and worked as an HVAC technician.
Jose was a doting son, brother to two sisters & uncle to his beautiful niece. He was a very easy-going person and was loved everywhere he went. Jose had a genuine soul...He deeply cared and loved those in his life. He instantly brightened up a room with his infectious smile and positive attitude, he made sure to always make everyone feel included. Jose treated those how he wanted to be treated. He always did the right thing and was always willing to lend a hand.
He was very ambitious and independent who always pushed hard to accomplish his goals. He liked figuring things out, doing DIY projects and was constantly learning new skills. He was a very hard worker with a great work ethic. He appreciated the little things; he celebrated his loved ones & their accomplishments no matter how small - he was the best cheerleader. He had a great sense of humor and a laugh like no other. He gave the warmest hugs and had the brightest smile.
Jose enjoyed cooking new recipes for family every weekend and spending lots of quality time. He had many hobbies, but guns were by far his favorite, he would go shooting whenever he got the chance. He would connect online with friends almost every night to play video games. He enjoyed listening to rap music, visiting new places and night drives out in the city.
His huge heart will never be forgotten and all the love he left behind will be forever cherished.
Jose is survived by - Father – Everardo Flores, Mother – Maria Simon, Sisters – Nallely Flores & Lory Flores.
Preceded in death by - Both paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
