Born on August 23, 1990, in Redondo Beach, California, Joe was a man whose angelic voice resonated deeply, touching hearts across many communities, especially in Utah, where he was cherished by numerous friends and acquaintances.

Joe was a gifted musician and songwriter, a passion that coursed through his veins from an early age. His life was a symphony of melodies spanning all styles—from R&B and Reggae to Blues and beyond. Joe’s family and close friends were central to his life. He is lovingly survived by his mother and father, Maricela and Jose, who stood by him with unwavering support. His brothers and sisters—Ivan, Ruben, Valerie, Maria, Amanda, and Andres—carry his memory forward, along with many friends, nieces, nephews, and extended family who were touched by his warm spirit. Joe joins in eternal rest his brother Omar Vargas and his beloved grandmother, Ramona Humble, whose memories remain woven into the fabric of his life.

In his final days, Joe fought bravely for his life from Monday, March 30, until his peaceful passing on April 2, 2026. His farewell was met with heartfelt sorrow and deep gratitude for the precious time shared with him. Services to honor Joe’s life will be held at Viva Church, located at 1055 North Redwood Road, Salt Lake City, Utah 84116. A viewing will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM, followed by a second viewing on April 24, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. The funeral service will commence on April 24 at 1:30 PM, allowing all who loved Joe the chance to gather and celebrate a life that brought so much light and music into the world. Interment following services at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.
