Joseph Lubbers

Joseph Axel Lübbers passed away peacefully. Born April 29, 1926, died December 30, 2013. He married Wilma Osborn on December 11, 1946 in the Salt Lake Temple. Survived by 9 children: Mike (Trudy) Lübbers, Kathi (Bill) Johnson, Kim (Scott) Hathorn, Julie (Jim) Duncan, Kevan (Susan) Lübbers, Trisha (Kris) Johnson, Rebecca Lübbers, Jolynn (Marty) Bobb, and David (Kim) Lübbers; 37 grandchildren; and 61 great-grandchildren. Joe loved his family, the Gospel, and served faithfully in many callings. Preceded in death by his loving wife; son, Craig; sister, Betty; both parents; and a grandson, David. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 6 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS meetinghouse located at 4195 South 6000 West. A viewing will be held Sunday evening from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the same location. Interment at Camp Williams Cemetery.
