Joseph Frank Ruganis

In loving memory of our Dad, "a guy named Joe", Joseph F. Ruganis, who passed away on April 11, 2013 in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 96.

Joe was born September 1, 1916 in Ansonia, Connecticut and was the son of Vincent Ruganis and Agatha Saniauskiute. He married the love of his life, Beatrice Whitaker, who preceded him in death on March 1, 1998.

He retired from Utah Power & Light Co. after 38 years and was a 60-year member of IBEW. He loved the outdoors, loved to fish, golf and play cards with friends and family. He was a master "tinkerer" and could fix anything.

Our Dad was the center of a loving family and is survived by his six daughters Toni, Jamie, Josie, Georgette, Nikki, and Sondra, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a brother, Michael.

Friends and family may call at the family home for a celebration of his life from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, April 14, 2013.
