Joshua Michael Crawford

Joshua Michael Crawford, 34, of Vernal, Utah, passed away on March 16, 2014, in Vernal, Utah. He was born December 25, 1979, in Glasgow, Montana to Jeanine Pelton and the late Michael Crawford.
Josh was a 1999 graduate of Millard High School in Fillmore, Utah. He served in the United States Marine Corps, stationed at Camp Pendleton, California, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and Okinawa, Japan. After his military service Josh worked as a long-haul truck driver until moving to Vernal, Utah. There, he was employed as an oilfield truck driver. Josh was currently employed by Newfield Explorations. Josh was a kind, loving and caring father and husband who took great pride in providing for his family. He had a natural ability to bring a smile to everyone's face. Josh was a gifted artist who enjoyed drawing portraits of family and friends. Josh is survived by his wife, Cathy Crawford, their two children, Tate, 5, and Stormie, 2; his son Jarrett Crawford, 13; his mother, Jeanine Pelton; his sister, Jennifer Corley; his brother, Jerrid Floyd; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Josh was preceded in death by his twin sister, Shauna Crawford, his father, Michael Crawford, and his step-father, Michael Pelton. A memory service will be held on Friday, March 21st at 1:00. Services will be held at Capital Church, 1010 East 700 South, Salt Lake City, Utah 84102.
