Our precious son, brother, friend, grandson, nephew Joshua Scott Harris passed away at 43 on May 31, 2026, at home surrounded by loved ones.

Our precious son, brother, friend, grandson, nephew, Joshua Scott Harris, passed away at the age of 43 on May 31, 2026, at home surrounded by loved ones.

Our beloved son was born October 11, 1982, in Salt Lake City to Debbie Timothy and Scott E. Harris. A devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Joshua found great joy in his faith. He cherished spending time with his family and the family cats who all brought him much comfort and companionship. He loved escaping into great stories and classic sci-fi adventures. Known for his kind heart and gentle spirit, Joshua had a way of making those around him feel loved. He possessed a quiet strength that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Joshua is survived by his devoted parents, Debbie Timothy and Scott E. Harris; sister, Melissa Harris; brothers, Brandon Ashworth and Dustin Ashworth; aunts and uncles, Cris (John), Ted (Dona), Darrin (Robert), and Walter (Abra); grandparents, Linda Timothy and Renee Harris; and many loving cousins, Sam (Gustavo), Nick (Becki), Anna (Michael), Jacob, David, Gavin, and Tahnee (Seth). He was preceded in death by his cousin Clarissa Timothy and grandparents, Douglas Timothy and Colleen Williams Beeson.

Services will be held at Redwood Road Cemetery, beginning with an evening viewing on Friday, June 12, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will follow on Saturday, June 13, at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at a later date to be determined.
