Obituary

Joshua Michael Strebe passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026. He was born in Yuma, AZ to Chris and Phyllis Strebe.

He is survived by his wife Gabriella, and his son Maximilian. He is also survived by his parents and eight siblings. Melinda (Mike), Christina (Rod), Angela (Jeff), Geoffrey (Sallie), Christopher (Luci), Jared (Ashley), Sarah (Ryan), and Joseph.

He graduated from Cibola High School where he participated in the Marching Band and Jazz Band, playing the trumpet. He also participated in the Shot Put event in track and field. After graduating high school, he went on to attend ASU and NAU. After college, he stayed in Flagstaff and found his calling in life and became a truck driver. He married in 2020 and then started his own company “Viking Independent Trucking” a few years later.

His hobbies were trucking, playing his guitar, gaming, and spending time with his family and friends.

He was a kind and gentle hearted man who always had a big smile. He will be greatly missed.

Services will be held for Josh on September 14th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Chapel located at 4300 West 16th St. in Yuma, AZ. Viewing will be at 10:00 AM and the memorial service at 11:00 AM.

A graveside service will be held two days later on the 16th at the Redwood Memorial Cemetery in West Jordan, Utah at 11:00 AM with a viewing an hour prior at 10:00 AM.
