Joyce Barbara Hedberg, born on May 10, 1934, in Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, in Murray, Utah. A devoted wife and loving mother, Joyce dedicated her life to supporting her family and the businesses they cherished, working tirelessly alongside her husband Raymond Leroy Hedberg in their construction company and later at Ray Fasteners.

Joyce's love for music filled her home with warmth and joy. Many who visited fondly remember how her fingers danced over the piano keys, accompanied by her harmonious voice. On weekends, the air was alive with melodies as she and Raymond would entertain each other and their family with songs, often joined by his accordion and guitar. This musical legacy created cherished memories for all, capturing the essence of a joyful family life.

An active member of her community, Joyce also enjoyed her high school years as a member of the choir, fostering her passion for music that would continue throughout her life. Her love of reading blossomed later in life, especially inspired by her beloved granddaughter Heather, who would return from the library with stacks of books for them to enjoy together.

Joyce shared wonderful times with family and friends, participating in bowling and golfing leagues, and embarking on numerous vacations around the world with dear friends, including Don and Linda Little and Nancy and John Pollack. Family gatherings at her home were always special occasions, creating lasting bonds filled with laughter and love.

Joyce leaves behind her children: Lynn Hedberg, his wife Sandy, Pam Walker, and her husband Steve Walker. She is also survived by her daughters-in-law, Sue Hedberg, and many cherished friends who will miss her deeply.

Joyce is predeceased by her husband Raymond and her son Ron Hedberg, both of whom she held dear in her heart.
