Judy Blades Frazier

Judy Blades Frazier, 74, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and great friend, passed away peacefully in Salt Lake City on September 5, 2026, after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Born to Alty Loren and Vela Jonnie Blades in Twin Falls, on December 11, 1951, she was raised in and later retired back to the Magic Valley.

Judy lived her life with great determination and purpose. She was dedicated to her family and her community of neighbors and churches, and to hundreds of students in her years as a special education teacher and administrator in California’s San Jose Unified School District. Judy was a graduate of Jerome High School the University of Idaho, where she served as president of the Delta Theta chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta and made lifelong friends. She went on to receive two Masters Degrees from San Jose State University, in both Special Education and Administration, while raising her family. Judy loved warm weather vacations, the American West and its history, antiques, gardens, Labrador dogs and children. Her broad interests and contagious enthusiasm were a gift to all who knew her.

Judy is survived by her husband, Lawrence Max Frazier of Salt Lake City, daughter, Kathryn (Andrew) Del Boccio of Norwalk, Conn., son Air Force Master Sergeant Ryan Frazier of Cheyenne, Wyo., granddaughters Eleanor, Margaret and Philippa Del Boccio, brother Darrell (Charlotte) Blades of Casper, Wyo., sister Deb (Tony) Clough of Twin Falls, sisters-in-law Laura Springston of Bangkok, Thailand, and Maggie (Jack) Karickhoff of New Caney, Texas, and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 18, 2026 at White-Reynolds Funeral Chapel, 2466 Addison Ave. E, Twin Falls, 83301, followed by interment at the Snake River Canyon National Cemetery, 1585 E. Elm St., Buhl, 83316. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
