Judy Webster

Our lovely Judy Webster, passed away on September 14,2023 in West Jordan, Utah at her caretakers.
She was born on May 8 1940 to Lewis LaVell and Reva Webster.
Shortly after she was born premature at 7 months, she was very tiny and she choked while her mom was breast feeding her, she was not breathing and it caused her to have brain damage. She fooled her doctor who said she wouldn’t live to 13. She passed away at 83 years old.
She was lovable, funny and always put a smile on anyone’s face. She was loved by many and could always be seen smiling.
Her sister Mariel named Judy, she said mom my friend, I call her jumping Judy, we could call her that. her mom said “I like the name Judy” we will leave off jumping. Judy was always jumping.
One day by her caretaker, just a few years back, Judy said “Lester my dad is in heaven!” Lester said “I know he’s with our Heavenly Father” Judy said “Well! Lester your next” Lester had to tell us. He thought that was so funny. You had to know Judy.
She is survived by her sister Mariel Webster Steel. So many loving nieces and nephews on and on who all had a special part somewhere in Judy’s life.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the Memorial Murray Mortuary. Following the viewing, the graveside service will take place at the Sandy City Cemetery located on 700 East 9000 South, Sandy, Utah.
