Julie Klungervik

July 20, 1968 — February 27, 2024

Salt Lake City, Utah

Julie Klungervik, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2024, at her home in Park City, Utah. She was 55 years old.

Julie was born on July 20, 1968, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Doug and Joan Haglund. She married the love of her life, Rory Klungervik, on November 23, 1989. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Throughout her life, Julie had a passion for many things. She found joy in the pages of books, particularly those of the true crime genre, and she had a deep appreciation for films and sunshine. Julie had an eye for fashion and enjoyed spending time shopping for the latest trends. She was a creative soul, finding fulfillment in hobbies such as scrapbooking, making blankets, and decorating her home. However, above all else, Julie's greatest joy came from being a devoted mother to her two daughters, Keysha and Cassidy. Her life revolved around her role as a mother, and she poured her heart and soul into raising her daughters. In 2023, her lifelong dream of becoming a grandmother (Mormor) was fulfilled when her grandson Ronin was born.

Julie is survived by her loving husband, Rory; her daughter, Keysha; her cherished grandson, Ronin; her sisters, Sherrie and Pam; her sisters-in-law, Corinne, Tahni, and Sandy and her beloved dog Loki. She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will be remembered by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joan and Doug; her daughter, Cassidy; and many other loved ones that she will be reunited with.

Julie will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love will forever be remembered.

Services for Julie will be held on March 6, 2024 at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary & Cemetery, 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Blvd.), Salt Lake City, (801) 943-0831. There will be a viewing from 12-2PM and a graveside service from 2-3PM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Nuzzles & Co. Pet Rescue & Adoption- https://nuzzlesandco.org in Julie's honor.

May her soul rest in peace, and may her memory live on in the hearts of those who loved her. A celebration of life will occur at a later date.
