Karen Margaret Sutphin

March 31, 1964 — September 17, 2022

With sadness we announce the passing of our dear sister Karen, she left this life in her sleep on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at her home in St. George, Utah where she spent the most joyful years of her life.
Karen was so happy to be in St. George over the past several years and always told us how wonderful her community was. She was fulfilling her dream of running a successful dog watching business, and had recently added grooming to her many skills and talents. She absolutely loved the dogs she cared for.
Whenever she could she spent time on the many trails and hikes available in the area, whether on foot or riding her beloved electric bike. She loved the outdoors, and all the people that she met along the way.
Preceded in death by her parents Marvin Sutphin and Bonnie Rose Sutphin, and nephew Michael Lovato. Survived by her siblings Catherine ‘Cate’ McGahhey, Alan Harris, Robert (Torrie) Sutphin, and Kelly (Dennis) Springsteed, as well as her 4 nieces and 3 nephews.
A memorial gathering and balloon release will be held on September 24, 2022 at St. James Park (741 St. James Ln.) at 7PM.
