Karen Lynn Wright

Karen Lynn Wright, 59, passed away unexpectedly on October 29, 2023 in Murray, Utah. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 8, 1964 to John G. and Gayle Wells. Karen Graduated from Highland High school in 1982 and went on to attend Utah State University for several years. She later went on to work for Valley Bank and retired from Irwin Bank. She married the love of her life, Denton A Wright on December 9, 1999.

Karen had an unconditional love for her family and pets.  She loved spending time at Bear Lake. She had a big heart for all she knew and her spark for life was seen in her smile and laughter. During the last few years, she took care of her great grandson, Dylan, who was the joy of her life, they had a bond that could not be broken.

She is survived by her husband Denton A. Wright, Step daughter Anjie Collard, Step grandchildren Katie (Katiebug) and Brooke (Brookie), Great grandson Dylan Stoll (See you later alligator), brothers Kevin (Marsha) Wells, Kelly (Shirley) Wells and Twin sister Karrie (Scott) Bills.

Preceded in death by parents John G and Gayle Wells, In laws Chadburn and Beth Wright, Grandparents Orvil Grant and Ruth Wells, Grandparents Freeman, brother Kirk Wells, sister-in-law Mona Roberts and brother-in-law Errol Wright.

A celebration of Karen’s life will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm at Memorial Murray mortuary 5850 South 900 East Murray, Utah 84121
