Kassidi Rose Jarvis Morrison

May 10, 1983 — June 29, 2025

Kassidi Rose Jarvis Morrison was born on May 10th, 1983, to Jerry Lee Jarvis and Shirlene Kay Nebeker Jarvis. She was delivered at home, in her brother’s bedroom, surrounded by all her siblings who were there to welcome her into the world. Kassidi had a vivacious spirit and fire from the very beginning. She was persnickety, precocious, and brought joy to everything she did—even from her earliest days.

Kassidi was a proud and loving mother to her two beautiful daughters, Lillyann Rose Morrison and London Piper Morrison, whom she loved more than anything in this world. She cherished going on adventures with them and watching them grow. Her favorite memories were Halloween, when they would create elaborate costumes that highlighted their fun, creative bond. Nothing brought her more joy than her daughters. If a photo can say a thousand words, then Kass’s photos of her girls could tell a trillion.

As a young girl, Kass had a deep passion for horses and flowers—especially roses. These passions led her to become a horse jockey and later to work in her aunt’s greenhouse alongside her sister Dakota during her late teens. She also found joy and purpose in the field of dentistry, where she worked for over 18 years. Kass was committed to higher education and pursued her master’s degree while raising her young family and working full-time.

She loved the theater and the arts, and her performances were filled with infectious energy. Her smile and laugh could light up any room, lifting everyone to her level of excitement and joy in whatever she set out to do. She made so many friends and cherished relationships throughout the New York small theatre community.

In July 2024, Kass received devastating news that she had been diagnosed with Stage 4 renal cell cancer. She made the incredibly difficult decision to move to Utah to be cared for by family and to seek advanced medical treatment. Over the next 10 months, she was able to spend Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter with her daughters and family. Kass said the one thing that brought her joy during this time was how her situation brought everyone closer together. She carried the signature Jarvis humor, always able to make people laugh and cry sometimes at the same time. Kass was the best at that. There were many moments when we feared the worst, and others when we believed wholeheartedly that she would beat this, just as she had triumphed over so many things in life.

On the morning of June 29th, 2025, surrounded by loved ones, Kassidi passed away after courageously fighting the months long battle with cancer.

Kassidi was preceded in death by her mother Shirlene Kay Nebeker, her brother Ezra Golden Jarvis, her niece Kylee Heaven Jarvis, her aunt Kenna Johnson, her uncle Golden Nebeker all of whom held a deep and special place in her heart.

She is survived by her daughters, Lillyann Rose Morrison and London Piper Morrison; her father, Jerry Lee Jarvis; and her siblings: Zachariah (Janae) Jarvis, Gabriel (Gretchen) Jarvis, Dakota Tuck, Liberti (Dallas) Seale, Candi (Kevin) Richard, Kelsey Jarvis, and Jameson Kolp. Along with many, many friends and family.

In true fashion, we find ourselves both laughing and crying together as we imagine the grand celebration that surely welcomed her home. Heaven just got a little brighter and rowdier with her arrival.

We invite all to attend a celebration of life on Tuesday, July 8th at 10:00 AM at Lakeview Cemetery and Mortuary in Bountiful, Utah (1640 Lakeview Dr, Bountiful, UT 84010). Come celebrate an electric soul who left this earth far too soon and reflect on the dimming of a bright light we all knew and loved.
