Kathleen R. Sabey

Kathleen R. Sabey passed away on October 8, 2023 at the age of 73 in Puyallup, Washington. She was born on October 7, 1950 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Melvin Edward Rushton and Kathryn Rushton. Kathleen married George B. Sabey on June 16, 1973. 

Kathleen liked collecting knick knacks, crocheting, and sewing. She raised 5 wonderful kids, and loved all her grandkids and great grandkids. 

Kathleen is survived by 1 brother, 2 sisters, her daughter Karen Tapp (James Tapp), her sons Glenn Sabey, Elliott Sabey, Scott Sabey, and her 18 grandkids and 11 great grandkids. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Kathryn, her husband George, her son Michael, and her grandson Cody. 

A viewing will be held on November 3, 2023 from 12:30-1:30 PM with a funeral service following from 1:30-2:30 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary. 

Interment will follow the services at Memorial Redwood Cemetery.

At this time, the family will request no flowers to be sent. Instead, donations are welcomed.
