Kathlyn Arline Green

Kathlyn Arline (Laver) Green passed away on Monday, September 15, 2008 after a long illness. She was born on October 24, 1926 in Mantua, Utah. She was a daughter of C.A. Laver and Elzada Mary (Peterson) Laver. She graduated from high school in Brigham City, Utah and was a proud 'Brigham Bee'. She worked for Salt Lake County administration office, and traveled to Europe with friends. She was married to Norman A. Green on June 28, 1958. She loved being a homemaker and wife. She was a long time member of the L.D.S. East Mill Creek 12th Ward and held many church positions over the years. Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Norm; daughter, Shawn (Kent) Frauenberger, Troy, Ohio; grandchildren, Nicholas La Russo, Columbus, Ohio, Jesse La Russo, Brooklyn, New York, Elizabeth (Libby) Frauenberger, Cincinnati, Ohio; step-daughters, Nancy Addington, Kathy (Craig) Coulam; step-grandchildren, John (Julie) Strah, Jeff Strah, Jason Coulam, Ben (Cassandra) Coulam; her brothers and sisters, Vard (Marie), Clyde, Charles (Eleanore), Frank (Ann), Nola Larsen, Jeanne Nichols. She loved the company of little children, especially her step-great-grandchildren and her great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the East Mill Creek Stake Center, 3103 East Craig Drive (3600 South). Friends may visit with the family at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to service.
