Kathy F. Murphy

Kathy F. Murphy passed away January 4, 2024 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born May 31, 1946 to Vivian Foutin and Helen Green in Lehi, Utah. She married Larry O. Murphy on April 4, 1987.

Kathy was an accomplished gardener with a Master Gardener rating. She painted many scenes in the area as an artist. She belonged to the Holladay Arts Council and organized the summer concerts and other musical events for years. She belonged to the Holladay Historical Commission for years. She volunteered at the Red Butte Garden Greenhouse for over 20 years. She was also a potter.

Kathy is survived by her husband Larry O. Murphy, children: Derek Allred (Michelle), Brett Murphy (Maria), Daren Murphy (Gayle), Melanie Hale (Jerron), and Melissa Gray (Paul).

She is preceded in death by her parents.
