Keith Jay Price 1923 ~ 2007
Keith Jay Price, age 83 of Salt Lake City, Utah died Saturday June 2, 2007. Born August 20, 1923 in West Jordan to Roy and Edith Price the sixth of twelve children. He was proud of his West Jordan heritage. Married his eternal sweetheart Pauline Willits on October 7, 1942. Served in the Army Air Force during WWII. Super salesman for Salt Lake Hardware and U.S. Welding. Very active in the Wasatch Gem Society and Rocky Mountain Federation of Mineralogical Societies. Taught silversmithing in community education for over thirty years. Served as Valley View 6th Ward High Priest Group Leader, Branch President at Wasatch Valley Rehab and eight years as an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake Temple. Keith always said "there's nothing more important than family" he is survived by his wife of 64 years three daughters Paula (Craig), Janet (Don) and Teena (Jeff), fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren. Sisters; Charlotte, Vonda, Ella, Elsa and Janice. Preceded in death by son, Ron grandson, Cory, 2 brothers, Leslie and Burdette, 4 sisters, Melva, Afton, Lois and Rhea. Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 7, 2007 at 11:00 am at the Valley View 6th ward, 2000 East 3900 South. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday evening, June 6, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East and Thursday from 9:40 am to 10:40 am at the church prior to services.
