Kenneth Craig Schiess

Kenneth Craig Schiess passed away at home on May 16, 2023. He was born on July 19, 1951 in Salt Lake City to Joseph Schiess and Maxine Redden.
Ken enjoyed music, reading, movies, and Civil War History. He knew everything about Elvis Presley and was proud of his visit to Graceland. He loved all animals especially his chihuahua- Mesha. Ken had a beautiful tenor voice and sang in the choir at West High School and at Saint Ann’s Catholic Church.
He is survived by his brother Jack (Dani), sister-and-law Sue Schiess, and niece Nikki (Dan). Ken dearly loved Nikki’s children Starlee, Sam, and Jaidyn. He had many friends including Edward Santilances, David Nance, Ed Allen, Stephen Allen, Terry Smith, Nick Torres, and Tim Shunk. He is preceded in death by his brother Max.
A viewing will be held for Kenneth on Thursday June 1, 2023 at 12-12:45 PM at St. Anne’s Catholic Church located at 450 East 2100 South Salt Lake City, Utah. Followed by Mass at St. Anne’s at 1 PM.
Interment will immediately follow the Mass at Memorial Redwood Cemetery located at 6500 South Redwood Road.
