Kent William Barben

Kent William Barben, age 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 25, 2026, at home in American Fork, Utah. He was born on April 28, 1951, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Frank and Barbara Barben.

Kent married the love of his life, Patricia Anne Godfrey, on August 5, 1982, and together they built a life centered around family and love.

Kent is survived by his devoted wife, Pat; his children, Tyler (Shayla), Claire, Trent (Heidi), Camille (Shayne), and Todd; and his cherished grandchildren, Greyson, Quentin, Logan, Paige, and Scout.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Barbara Barben, and his sister, Frances Barben.

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Memorial Redwood Cemetery at the same address.
