Obituary

Kevin Ray Kingsley, 30, was born on November 27, 1995, in Aurora, Colorado, and passed away on June 12, 2026, in Goldfield, Nevada.

Kevin will be remembered for his big heart, goofy personality, and the way he could always make people smile. He had a gift for making people laugh and brought light into the lives of those around him. Kevin was the kind of person who would show up when someone needed him, always willing to offer support, lend a hand, or help however he could.

From the time he was a little boy, Kevin loved adventure and the outdoors. He was always exploring and had a special connection with animals. Whether it was frogs, lizards, snakes, armadillos, or any other creature he came across, Kevin was fascinated by them and often came home with stories of his latest discovery. That love for animals stayed with him throughout his life and became one of the things people knew him best for.

In his later years, his cats became some of his most cherished companions. He cared for them deeply and found comfort in their companionship.

Kevin found joy in the simple things: spending time with family and friends, making jokes, playing games, and enjoying the outdoors. He especially loved being an uncle and treasured the time he spent with his nephews and nieces, teaching them how to ride bikes and skateboards, making them laugh, and creating memories they will carry with them forever.

Sundays were often spent cheering on his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. Win or lose, he remained a loyal fan and looked forward to watching every game and talking football with family and friends.

Kevin took great pride in his sobriety and in the progress he made over the past year. It was a journey that showed his strength, determination, and commitment to building a better future. He worked hard to better himself, and while he was proud of how far he had come, we were just as proud of him.

Kevin is survived by his father, Jerry M. Kingsley, and his mother, Sheryl Kingsley; his brother, Adonass Kingsley (Darian Kingsley); his sisters, Alaysha Aamodt (Austin Aamodt) and Kloee Kingsley; his sister/cousin, Valerie Pino (Chris Pino); his maternal grandmother, Denise Teuscher; his paternal grandfather, Jerry F. Kingsley; and his beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Scott Teuscher, and his paternal grandmother, Arlene Kingsley.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, followed by a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. as we gather to celebrate Kevin’s life.

Though our hearts are broken by his loss, we will remember Kevin: the animal lover with a compassionate heart, the devoted uncle who loved making children laugh, the loyal Dallas Cowboys fan, and the man whose smile and humor could brighten any room.

Kevin leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, resilience, and unforgettable memories. His memory will live on through the stories we share, the lessons he taught us, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
