Kevin Allen Wright passed away on March 2, 2026, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on May 27, 1968, in Los Angeles, California, to Ralph B. Wright and Sandra A. Stewart.

Kevin was known for his big heart, creative spirit, and youthful energy. He had many passions throughout his life, including fishing, skiing, and golfing with his brother. He proudly followed in his grandfather’s footsteps with his love of fishing, a hobby that connected him deeply to both family and the outdoors. A devoted fan of the Chicago Bears, he rarely missed a chance to cheer for his team.

Kevin also had a deep love for animals and especially enjoyed maintaining large fish tanks and catching fish to keep and care for. He was an amazing artist and someone who truly loved everyone and everything around him. Kevin remained a big kid at heart and never failed to let his enthusiasm, curiosity, and joy shine through in the things he cared about most.

He is survived by his father, Ralph B. Wright; his brothers, Robert Wright and John Mestas; his sister, Maria Mestas; his niece, Ashlon Wright; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who will miss him dearly.

Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra A. Stewart; his baby sister, Jenny Wright; several grandparents; his Uncle Jim; and other close family members and friends.

Funeral services in Utah will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Memorial Murray Mortuary, located at 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah 84121. A celebration of life will be held immediately following the formal services at the home of Robert and Kevin Wright, 2109 South Texas Street, Salt Lake City, Utah 84109.

A viewing in California will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 12:00–2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Cemetery, located at 1712 South Glendale Avenue, Glendale, California 91205, with a celebration of life held directly afterward at 313 East Maple Street, Glendale, California 91205.

Kevin will be remembered for his kindness, creativity, and the genuine love he had for the people and passions in his life.
