In Loving Memory of Kyler Braxton Bird
December 3, 2001 – July 15, 2025
Kyler Braxton Bird was a beacon of warmth and joy to everyone who knew him. Born on December 3, 2001, at Alta View Hospital in Sandy, Utah, Kyler quickly became a source of light and laughter for family and friends. Though he passed unexpectedly on July 15, 2025, in West Jordan, his spirit, kindness, and boundless love will forever live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him.
Troy and Rebecca Bird’s unwavering love formed the foundation of Kyler’s life. As their youngest son, Kyler was cherished beyond measure—held close in their hearts and nurtured with steadfast devotion. Troy’s steady guidance and quiet strength helped shape Kyler into a young man of integrity, perseverance, and compassion. Rebecca’s tender care and constant support were a source of comfort and encouragement throughout his life. Together, their love created a home filled with warmth and security where Kyler thrived.
Kyler shared a unique and unbreakable bond with his older brother, Kamdon. From childhood adventures to quiet moments of understanding, their brotherhood was a constant source of strength and joy. Alongside lifelong friends like Diego and Khesler—whose families embraced Kyler as one of their own—he built a circle of love that extended beyond blood.
An exceptional athlete and passionate learner, Kyler excelled in baseball, basketball, football, and especially soccer—a sport that held a special place in his heart. His competitive spirit and teamwork shone brightest during the Red Bull 3X basketball tournament, where his team earned a proud second-place finish. Kyler’s love of sports was matched only by his love for simple joys: hanging out with friends, sharing laughter, and making memories. Whether at concerts, casual gatherings, or quietly watching The Office while quoting favorite lines, his contagious laughter and radiant smile could brighten any room.
Though quiet by nature, Kyler’s heart was full of love and dreams. He was the glue that held his circle together—a loyal friend, a devoted son and brother, and someone who always knew how to lift others up. In his final months, Kyler focused on being fully present with those he loved, creating precious memories that bring comfort to all who knew him.
Kyler dreamed of a future filled with love and family, inspired by the strength and devotion he saw in his parents. While his time with us was far too brief, the light he brought into our lives will continue to shine brightly in every story shared and every memory held.
We invite everyone who knew Kyler to celebrate his life by sharing stories, photos, or quiet reflections, so that his spirit may live on in each of us.
