L. Janet Jackson Child 1929 ~ 2008

My loving and beautiful bride of 62 years has died. At her request no services were held. She is survived by her husband, Jay; daughters, Laurie and Leigh; sons, Jonathan and Sterling; 8 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren; twin brothers, Gordon (Jean), Bob (Amy), Ralph (Arlene). Preceded in death by her parents, Lyle Jackson and Laura Obernhansly Jackson; sister, Luana Barnhurst; and a very special son, Gordon. The family extends our appreciation and thanks to Beth C. Hanlon, MD, and nurses Dana and Barbara. Loving thanks to our S.L.C. Temple family with whom she served for many years, and the Mt. Olympus 12th Ward Relief Society.
