Ladeen Morgan Blaser 1938 ~ 2008

Ladeen Morgan Blaser, 69, loving, mother, grandmother and friend to all, passed away July 29, 2008, following a brief illness. Born September 19, 1938 in Salt Lake City, to Arnold (Ladd) and Ellen Hengen Morgan. Married Adrian A. Blaser, April 5, 1957, who preceded her in death June 16, 2001. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Holidays and birthdays were her favorite times spent with family and friends, with whom she shared her delicious potato salads and homemade cakes. She was a huge Jazz Fan and never missed a game. Later in life, she was reacquainted with a special friend, Bruce Cutler. They spent several happy years together, traveling and visiting family and friends. Our family would like to thank Bruce for his companionship and care of our Mother. Survived by her children, Shawn, Holladay; Scott, Palm Springs; Lisa (Larry) Mariano, Murray; Steven (Natalie) Blaser, Riverton; grandchildren, Maria, Tyler, Bryson, Brooke and Brenna. Also survived by her poodle, Thor. Preceded in death by parents, husband. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Aug 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 1750 East 3300 South. Friends may visit with the family at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services.
