La Donna Webb Keaton

May 23, 1928 — December 30, 2023

Palm Desert

Heaven received another angel on December 30, 2023, with the passing of La Donna Webb Keaton of Palm Desert, California. She was born on May 23, 1928, in Salt Lake City, Utah, which is where she grew up.

La Donna had many careers. She was an assistant in CPA firm in Los Angeles, prior to moving to Palm Desert in October 1980. She was also Personal Assistant to Barbara Sinatra starting in February 1985. She helped Barbara raise money for many different charities. She retired from her position with Mrs. Sinatra in December 1993. She was also a Real Estate broker and remained active in this profession until her death at 95 years young. La Donna Keaton moved to Palm Desert Greens in 1980 and began her real estate career in 1981, establishing a record for professionalism and integrity. She joined the firm of Realty Services in 1999 and, when the owner was critically injured in an automobile accident, she bought it in 2001. In 2007 she created the La Donna Keaton Team. She has continued to be a leader in community activities in addition to her dedication to her real estate business for over 40 years.

La Donna was very active in Palm Desert Greens and was instrumental in getting the Palm Desert Greens Library set up.

Her husband, Fred Webb, passed away in June 1982. In November of 1982 her son, John Webb, was in a tragic car accident and was left as a quadriplegic. She lovingly and efficiently nursed him for many years before he passed away in June 1993.

She found love with Chuck Keaton, and they were married in May 1989. Unfortunately, Chuck passed away in September 2009 after a long bout with cancer.

Through her trials and tribulations, she has remained a shining example of grace and humility, always putting others first and giving generously to cause and friends. She was a truly remarkable woman.

La Donna is survived by her Stepson, Alan Keaton and Stepdaughter, Rhonda Mallory, and her sister Darlene McCann. She is also survived by her seven nieces and nephews and their families who all dearly adored her.  Each felt that La Donna counted them as her “favorite”.  Which we were and she was ours. We know that she is rejoicing today with her husband, Chuck, her son, John, and her parents as well as many other family members who were there to welcome her home.

A Memorial Service will be held on January 13, 2024, at 11 am (California time) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 72960 Parkview, Palm Desert, CA. where she was an active member. Live Stream at https://zoom.us/j/95124921516
