Larene Carol Tondro

LaRene Carol Tondro passed away in San Pedro, CA February 24, 2015. She was sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple; survived by her children, Michelle (Robert) Whitesides, Bruce (Tiea) Rowley and four precious grandchildren: Andrew (Stephanie), Karyn and Sarah Whitesides; and Sofia Rowley.

An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she especially loved serving as a teacher for early morning seminary, Relief Society and primary. Her favorite service was as chorister and pianist in Primary.

While at Bonneville Satellite, LaRene was instrumental in the first satellite broadcast of LDS General Conference. She worked at Keystone Communications in Wash, D.C., then as owner of TSD Communication Services.

In spare moments she cultivated gorgeous yards and gardens.

A viewing will be held at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 So. 2300 E, SLC, UT on Weds, March 4 at 10 am and services at 11 am. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery.
