Laura Ann Jensen

November 18, 1959 — January 20, 2026

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Laura Ann Jensen, who left us on January 20, 2026, at the age of 66. Born November 18, 1959, in La Grange, Kentucky. Laura was a beacon of warmth in the lives of everyone who knew her. Laura will be remembered for her bubbly personality and caring spirit. Her kindness extended to every corner of her life as she found joy in making little treats for her friends, neighbors, care givers and many others. Every Christmas her homemade goodies were a highlight that brought smiles and warmth to countless faces. Laura had a way of making everyone feel special, and her selflessness shone through in all her actions.

A graduate of Brighton High School in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, Laura embodied a love for life that was infectious. Whether she was baking her favorite recipes or planning parties to celebrate others, she thrived on keeping herself busy and making memories with those around her. Her love of music brought joy, not just to her, but also to those privileged enough to hear her sing. She would often perform at various locations, weddings concerts and several church socials.

Laura shared a wonderful life with her husband, Kent Jensen, with whom she celebrated 43 years of love, laughter and companionship. Their bond grew strong over shared experiences, including memorable weekends spent fishing together where countless stories were created-one fond memory recalls a curious squirrel making a surprise appearance during one of their outings, catching Laura off guard and showcasing her endearing apprehension towards wild animals; however, she loved German Shepherds, together they welcomed a beloved German Shepherd named Waken into their home, a decision that brought them immense joy. Laura dedicated her time to researching the breed and caring for Waken, coupling her love of animals and her natural talents she learned at the age of 9, when her father introduced her to dog training.

Preceded in death by her father, Jim Robison, and her mother, Pearl McGuire Robison, she is survived by her loving husband Kent Jensen and her cherished nieces, Joyce Schott and Kristina Lockard. Laura's legacy is one of kindness, joy and love for all. The memories that she created from baking treats (like Bourbon Balls), and music to sharing quiet moments filled with laughter, will continue to resonate with family and friends. Laura Ann Jensen will forever be remembered as a truly beautiful soul who enriched the lives of so many. Her memory will live on in our hearts as we celebrate the remarkable person that she was.

A viewing will take place on February 20, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM; both at the Jordan Oaks 2nd Ward, locate at 8117 South 3905 West, West Jordan, UT 84088
