In Loving Memory of Our Mommy and Grandma
Our world became a little darker, and the heavens a little brighter, because they gained an angel. In the early morning hours of September 13, our beloved Mommy and Grandma earned her wings.
Quick-witted and spunky, she always kept us on our toes. Her love for her family was unmatched—she cherished every moment with us. She had a special fondness for Law & Order, and she absolutely adored TV shopping—especially when Crista’s credit cards were involved. Spoiling her grandchildren brought her endless joy.
She fought a good fight. Her pain is gone now, and she is reunited with our Pops.
Survived by her daughters, who loved her more than anything: Kimberley, Amelia (Bill), and Crista; and her grandchildren, Shayla, Shyann, Quintin, Ellonzo, and Leo. She also leaves behind her extended family, Sandy and Amy. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vance.
We would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Sharma of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Utah, Dr. Allen, and his NP Amy Gilbert, as well as Monument Health at Millcreek and the entire rehab team, who never gave up and continued to push her to get better. To Jesus, the driver who took her to dialysis, she truly enjoyed your rides together. To Alison, one of her favorite nurses, and to Kasey, London, Brenda, Sharon, and all the other wonderful people we’ve met along the way—thank you for your care, compassion, and love.
Mommy/Grandma, we miss you more than words can express. We will continue to make you proud and keep your memory alive in everything we do. Until we meet again, we’ll take it from here.
“Mom, your memory is my keepsake, with which I’ll never part.”
We love you—forever and always.
The family and close friends will be gathering to privately say goodbye on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, at Redwood Memorial Estates. A celebration of her remarkable life will be held at a later date
