Laurinda Gail Kuwahara

Laurinda Gail Kuwahara, age 67 of Saratoga Springs, UT, passed away June 10, 2026, after a long illness. She was born on July 1, 1958, to Donald and Helen Cracroft. She graduated from Cottonwood High School in 1976. She worked as a medical claims processor for many years and had the opportunity to travel while working for Blue Cross, Blue Shield. She really enjoyed working in Richmond, VA and Pittsburg, PA.

Laurinda loved to dance, host parties, and travel. She was known for having the best Christmas village and took pride in her work. Her favorite pastime was doing crafts, painting, snow skiing and shopping.

Laurinda is survived by her husband Steven Kuwahara of Saratoga Springs, UT; her son Lorin Ward of Newman, GA; her sisters Colleen Green of Logan, UT and Kathleen Evans (Russell) of Fredericksburg, VA; nephews Chris, Jeremy, Monte, Lance, Ray and niece Angel.

She is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Helen Cracroft; sister Annette Porter; her grandparents; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary & Cemetery located at 3115 East 7800 South in Cottonwood Heights with a viewing from 12:30 - 1:45 pm and the funeral beginning at 2:00 pm. Dedication of the grave will commence after the funeral.
