LeiLani Leigh Cardenas

LeiLani Leigh Cardenas, age 49, died on March 5, 2026, unexpectedly due to natural causes in her home. She was born on August 12, 1976, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She eventually met her husband, Carlos Cardenas. She always said it was love at first sight. They got married on February 22, 2001. They would eventually have their two daughters: Kaleigh Cardenas (born August 1, 2001) and Daisi Cardenas (born December 6, 2004). She always wanted a family and to give them the best.

She was an exuberant woman and just a ray of sunshine to everyone. She loved going out for window shopping, spontaneous food runs, and coffee runs to Dutch Bros. She was boujee and would always be blinged out with her jewelry and painted nails.

She was an amazing mother who had a special relationship with her daughters. She wasn't just a mother, but a best friend. She was the most selfless person you could meet. We will miss her in-depth conversations that went for hours.

She was an exceptional wife who always thought of her husband. Words cannot describe how great a wife she was. We will continue to live for her and will feel this void forever. She is someone to look up to and aspire to be.

We are glad to know her last moments were full of joy and that she had her stress reliever, Biscuit.

She is survived by her husband, Carlos; two daughters, Kaleigh and Daisi; her mother, Barbara; and her grandpup, Biscuit Dumpling Cardenas.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 12:30 PM at Memorial's Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.

A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM at the same location.
