Leo Gomez

Leo Gomez, born on May 4, 1963, in Price, Utah, passed away on October 9, 2025, in West Jordan, Utah. He leaves behind a legacy of creativity and craftsmanship, characterized by his hands-on approach to life as a skilled handyman who could fix anything. Leo had a passion for working with his hands, which extended beyond simple repairs—his interests included riding ATVs, shooting, fishing, gambling, and cooking. He also showcased his artistic side through painting houses, lending his talents to beautify the community around him.

Leo is survived by his son, Anthony Gomez, and his daughter, Julia Swank. His love for family continued through his grandchildren, who include Taysia, Auna, Ahliyas, Adrian, Isaiah, Neveah, Kamarhi, and Kamaiyah. He is also remembered by his ex-wife, Loretta Gomez, and stepdaughter, Destiny.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benny and Delores, whose guidance influenced Leo’s remarkable spirit and tenacity in all his endeavors. Leo will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who will cherish the memories of his vibrant personality and unyielding determination to live life to the fullest.
