Leslee Ann Simpson

December 27, 1949 — April 14, 2026

Leslee Ann Simpson, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Taylorsville, Utah, on April 14, 2026. Born on December 27, 1949, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Leslee led a life marked by compassion, creativity, and an unwavering dedication to those she loved.

A proud graduate of Granite High School, Leslee dedicated much of her professional life to working as a para professional with special needs children. Through this vocation, she was able to share her nurturing spirit and positive energy, always uplifting those around her with an upbeat approach to life and a kind word of support whenever needed. Her passion for cooking and baking was well known among family and friends, especially her famous cinnamon rolls, which were a beloved treat.

Leslee’s interests were as rich and varied as her life itself. She delighted in creative writing, storytelling, and singing at church, all of which allowed her to express her vibrant spirit. Above all, she took immense joy in raising her two daughters, Melissa Palmer (Joel), and Julie Simpson, and treasuring her role as grandmother to Galen Palmer. Her active participation in the social group TOPS exemplified her commitment to embracing a healthy lifestyle and community involvement, a source of pride throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Royal Simpson; her mother, Dolores Ann Roup; her father, William Paul Bradford; and her brother, David Paul Bradford. Those who survive her, who remember her warmth and generous heart, include her daughters Melissa Palmer and Julie Simpson, her son-in-law Joel Palmer, and her grandson Galen Palmer.

A viewing to honor and remember Leslee will be held on April 23, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, located at 6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT. This will be followed by a funeral service at the same location from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on the same day.
