Lester John Morris

Lester John Morris “Uncle Lester,” age 75, died on Friday, May 19, 2023, in Cottonwood Heights. He was born on April 23, 1948, in East Carbon, Utah to James and Myrtle Morris. He married Jan Fullmer.
Lester served in Vietnam for the United States Army from 1968 to 1971.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Wayne and Darlene McNeese, his beloved cat Timothy Morris, along with his cousin Tyler Rizzi, as well as a great deal of nephews and nieces and their families.
Lester is preceded in death by Jan Morris, his mom and dad James and Myrtle Morris, his brother Jimmy Morris, sister-in-law Sue Morris, his sister Myrtle Vigil, and his brother-in-law Tony Vigil.
Services for Lester will be held in his honor on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with a viewing prior from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Redwood Mortuary on 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah, 84123. A short graveside service with be held afterward.
