Lina Khoury

A young and loving daughter, sister, and friend, Lina Khoury passed away suddenly on Saturday March 16, 2013. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on September 8, 1985 to Saad and Amale Khoury.

Lina was a kind and charismatic, 27 year old, who was cherished by everyone who knew her. She deeply cared about her family and frequently displayed true and lasting appreciation towards her friends. Lina was a faithful member of the Orthodox Church. She fully enjoyed the fellowship that she received and maintained throughout her life a strong and unwavering belief in the Church's traditional teachings. Whatever she did, she poured her heart into it.

Lina is survived by her father Saad Khoury; mother Amale Majdalani Khoury; and two brothers Daniel and Mark Khoury.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at the Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church, 5335 South Highland Drive, Holladay, UT 84117. Interment will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 5th South, Salt Lake City, UT 84102.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to encourage those who knew Lina to make a donation to the Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, 355 S 300 E Salt Lake City, UT 84111, or to the Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church.
