Linda Drysdale Whipple age 76
Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend returned to her Heavenly Father on February 11 2023. She was born on June 17, 1946, in the LDS hospital in SLC, UT to Lloyd Henry and Shirley Bridge Drysdale. She married John Nichols Whipple on June 17, 1970 and later sealed in the Salt Lake City LDS temple on January 12, 1973. They were married 53 years. Together they had 9 children and 14 grandchildren.
She was very talented in doing counted cross stitch, creating over 100 beautiful, stunning cross stitches and shared those with all of her family. She was striving to live her life so she could return to her Heavenly Father and Jesus; and enjoyed reading about him. She loved to go to Bear Lake, Southern Utah, and Yellowstone where she enjoyed camping with her husband and children. She enjoyed cooking for her family and having her family around her during holidays throughout the year. She was filled with selflessness and always giving to others.
She worked as an aide in an elementary school, and enjoyed working at Wells Fargo as a Secretary in the Trust Department for many years.
She is survived by her husband John, her children daughter Jenn (Charles), Sons Todd (Alicia), Jason, Andy (Vanessa), Justin, Jeremy (Stephanie), Ryan (Jenny). Grandchildren Sage, Tristan (Maddie), Dakota, Katie, Rylee, Aidan, Alyssa, Connor, Nicki, Boston, McKayla, Jayden, Cameron, and Finlee. Her sister Bonnie (Doug), nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Trent, and daughter Katherine.
