Linda Jackson

Linda L. Jackson (Jones)

June 14, 1953 – October 27, 2026

Linda L. Jackson of Eagle Mountain, Utah passed away on October 27, 2026. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Linda Jackson was born June 14, 1953, to Arthur and Donna Jones in Tooele, Utah. She grew up in Kearns, Utah, where she attended Western Hills Elementary, Kearns Jr. High and Kearns High, where she graduated in 1971. After high school, Linda moved to San Diego, where she met Joe Zavodny and had 2 beautiful daughters, Tiffiny and Jennifer. Linda returned to Utah where she went to work at Mrs. Fields and Our Place restaurant for many years, and she met many people that turned into a lifelong friendship. Linda met and married David Jackson July 14, 1993. Linda was a loving, caring and funny woman who brought so much joy and light into the lives of all around her. Linda found joy in the things that made her happy, such as time she spent with family and friends making memories, telling stories, watching and cheering on the Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Chargers, watching wrestling, and cooking.

Her love for her family was an important part of who she was, and the memories they shared will forever hold a special place in their hearts. Her humor, caring nature, and the moments spent together will be remembered with love.

Linda is survived by her two daughters, Tiffiny (Randee) and Jennifer; her seven grandchildren, Victor, Hunter (Erica), Taylor, Talon, Tucker and Contessa; her great-granddaughter, Aryiah and her sister, Donna Jean (Dave); and her brother, Robert “Bob” Jones. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and her best friend of over 30 years, Terrie.

She was preceded in death by her husband David Jackson; her great-granddaughter, Isla; her parents, Arthur and Donna Jones; her brothers, Gene and John; her sisters, Doris, Judy, Grayce, and Ramona; her step mother Delores; her sisters-in-law, Kathy and Teresa; and her brothers-in-law, Eric and George; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
