Linda Christine Larson

Our dear wife, mother, sister, aunt, niece, friend, and companion. Age 60, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Feb. 16th, in Salt Lake City, UT. She was born on February 6, 1948 in New Haven, Connecticut. Linda found belonging as an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and filled many positions. Linda especially enjoyed serving in the Nursery. Linda was a seeker of life in simpler forms... always seeking peace and tranquility. She enjoyed nature and caring for all of Gods creation... especially her many pets. She served a life of compassionate service as a CNA at many care facilities in Salt Lake City. Linda was seen as a face of kindness while working at local Smith's and Dan's food stores. She is survived by her husband Ken; her sons Aaron and Jeremy; her sister Nancy Kajitani; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Gladys Holmstrom, two sisters; Ann Holmstrom and Jane Larsen and one brother, Glenn Holmstrom. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 22, 2008, 11:00AM at the Mount Olympus 7th Ward Chapel, 4407 Fortuna Way (3610 East). Friends may call at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, Thursday, February 21, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. and the day of the service at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment: Mountain View Memorial Estates 3115 East 7800 South.
