Linda Lindeman

September 18, 1956 — December 1, 2025

West Jordan, Utah

With heavy hearts and lots of love, we announce the passing of Linda Keding Lindeman on December 1, 2025. She was born on September 18, 1956, in Murray, Utah. Linda was the daughter of Melvin Richard Keding and Gertrude Trudy Richardson

Linda grew up in Murray, Utah, the middle of three girls, Sylvia (Wendel) and Jeanny (Gordon). When Linda was young, she loved working outside with her dad. Their family took one big trip a year to Laguna Beach; this has always been a favorite place for her. She enjoyed singing in the car with her family when they travelled. Linda loved to play the piano and taught all her kids and many other students. She was in the process of teaching a dear granddaughter at her passing. Linda attended Cottonwood High School, where she served on the Seminary Council. She loved the people she served with, and she loved serving with all the energy she had. This is also where she met the love of her life, Russell Lindeman. Linda's sister, Sylvia, set them up on their first date. It didn’t take long, and they were smitten with each other. Mom waited for Dad on his mission. She kept herself busy planning a wedding and sewing her wedding dress for their wedding. Two months after Russell got back from his mission, they were married in the Salt Lake Temple.

Mom had a great love for family. Within just a few years, she had three amazing children and Natalie. Mom spent her young married life raising children, and she spent years teaching 4-H to her girls. She taught all her children to play the piano, which is where many of us started our love for music. Although she taught many things to her children, what we remember most was her ability to be there. She was always there, after school every day, every activity, and every important event.

Mom took great pride in her time spent running NaagTag and working on the West Jordan Chamber of Secrets (Commerce). After her retirement, Temple work and genealogy became her main sacred responsibilities. At her passing, she was serving in the temple 3 shifts a week and many times covered multiple shifts for others in need.

Linda loved her family more than anything. This included her husband, sisters, parents, children, grandchildren, and everyone she knew. She was constantly giving everything she had into everything she did. She never forgot a birthday. Christmas was always an extravaganza. She made visiting her grandchildren and calling them a priority. It didn’t matter if they lived in NY, Japan, Mexico, or China. She went to as many events as she could. There was no such thing as 100 percent with mom. She regularly would give 100 million percent, never exaggerating.

She is survived by her husband, Russell LeRoy Lindeman, her children Richard (Conny Goodman), Aaron (Leslie Allmond), Tiffany (Blair Read), and Natalie (Bob Lemley). She has 25 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren (we made a list and checked it twice), and is preceded in death by her grandson Declan Craig Read.

Linda’s example and care for all will be greatly missed. We will continue to feel her presence in our lives as we grow closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ. Let our love for our Savior and for Linda grow through this season as we feel her loss. Let us serve as she did and love as she did.
