Lisa Dawn Whetman

Lisa Dawn Whetman (56) sadly passed away on November 7, 2025.

Lisa was born April 23rd 1969 in West Jordan, Utah.
Graduated from Taylorsville High School in 1987 as an honor student. She spent most of her life in West Jordan before making her home in Spanish Fork.

Lisa had a lifelong passion for horses and found peace and healing in their presence. She loved her career at Cottonwood Hospital, working in medical records before she was able to be a full time stay at home Mom. She found so much fulfillment in motherhood and nurturing her family. She devoted her life to her family, cherishing the time and memories made as a Wife and Mom.

She now reunites in heaven with her beloved husband, Bret, cherished daughter, Whitney, and adored sister Lori, whose memories she carried close to her heart. We hope that her heart and soul are at peace and she finds comfort in being with her family that she missed infinitely.

Lisa is survived by her son Mitchell, and grandson Nash. She is also survived by her brother, Bart Shaeffer of West Jordan, sister Chris Hansen and parents Mike and Lois Shaeffer of Taylorsville. Along with many other extended family members and loved ones who will deeply mourn Lisa and hold her memory close to our hearts.
