Lois Torgersen Brown Christensen

Lois Torgersen Brown Christensen was born on January 25, 1928, in Koosharem, Utah, to Elmer and Leona Torgersen.

On August 14, 1946, she married Don Brown. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Jordan River LDS Temple. Together, they built a life centered on faith, family, and service.

Following Don's passing, Lois married Delbert Christensen in November 2010. They enjoyed many happy years together.

Lois passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026, following a brief illness.

She is survived by her loving husband, Delbert Christensen, and her beloved daughter, Sandra Jean Woodbridge (Fred).

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Don Brown; her brothers, Kyle, Nick, Alden, Milen, and Thad; and her sister, Louise.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to her daughter-in-law, Ellie Christensen, for the love, compassion, and devoted care she provided to Lois during her time of need. Her kindness will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.

The family also wishes to express sincere thanks to the brethren of the 19th LDS Stake, as well as neighbors and friends, for their support, service, and acts of kindness during this difficult time.

You may visit with the family at a viewing on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 11:00 to 11:45 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Countryside Ward Building, 6695 South 2200 West, West Jordan, Utah. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon.

Interment following services at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
