Lonnie Ellen (Mortensen) Woudenberg

Lonnie Woudenberg passed away peacefully on February 23, 2018 at the age of 60. She was born in Price, Utah on October 15, 1957 to Joan Polve Mortensen and Jimmie Mortensen, and was the oldest of 6 children.  She loved music, dancing, shooting guns, dirty jokes, cooking and most of all her family.  She was a hard worker and was able to accomplish so much as a single mother.  She was strong yet fragile, strict yet also gentle and always wore her heart on her sleeve.

She is survived by her daughter, Sara Scott; her long term partner, William Telck; her brothers, Michael Mortensen, Robert Mortensen, and Brad Mortensen; her aunt, Marjorie Jones; and many more that loved her dearly.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 3:00PM at Holbrook Mortuary located at 3251 South 2300 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84109. Friends and family are invited to visit one hour prior to the service.
