LoRena May Larsen Langston, age 87, passed away May 9, 2016 in Taylorsville, Utah. She was born April 25, 1929 in Loa, Utah to Martha Haney and Lloyd Larsen. She married Lloyd Owen Langston in Elko, Nevada on September 7, 1962. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April 22, 1966.

LoRena spent the last 69 years doing what she loved most here on Earth, raising children and grandchildren; including her grandson, Brandon Langston.

She cherished and inspired everyone whose life she touched. She had absolute unconditional and selfless love. She will be missed by so many.

LoRena is survived by 5 children, Tom (Debbie) Sawyer, Karen (Larry) Sawyer, Kate (Jerry) Moskios, Susan (Guy) sawyer, and Mark (Deb) Langston; 13 grandchildren, Joe Sokol, Chad Sokol, Michelle Martineau, Christine Sawyer, Justin Sawyer, Amber Pierce, Krystal Shipley, Adam Koncurat, Steven Gladowski, Celise Rico, Allie Langston, Cody Langston, Brandon Langston; 18 great-grandchildren, Craig, Tiesha, Savannah, Tiffany, Trevor, Cameron, Danielle, Daren, Charles, Josh, Jace, Parker, Ashlynn, Annessa, Victor, Ava, Lexi, Giovanni; 7 great-great-grandchildren, Katie, Olivia, Sofia, Benny, Orlando, Saige, Justin; 2 brothers, Curt Larsen and Craig Twitchell; 3 sisters, Deanne Gilles, Arietta Clutter, and Joyce Tooman; as well as nieces, nephews, and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; 2 daughters, Barbara Ruth and Jillyn; 1 son, Wayne Leon; 1 sister, Beth; and 1 brother, Shirrell.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 11:00am at the Winder 2nd Ward, 1361 East 4000 South, where friends may visit with the family from 9:30 to 10:30am prior to the service.
