Lucille Nielson Jensen

Lucille Nielson Jensen age 89 passed away on July 30, 2025 in Holladay, Utah. She was born on January 3, 1936 in Preston, Idaho to Free Andrew Nielson and Jessie Chadwick. She married Richard L. Jensen on July 30, 1955 and later divorced.

She enjoyed being a Realtor and was proud of being the co-owner of a successful laundry business. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time at her cabin and riding ATV’s with her family and friends. She was also passionate about and enjoyed crafting many stained glass items. She loved the color purple and reading.

She is survived by her daughter Jeri (Brad) Evans, son Kent (Lisa) Jensen, sister Noreen Nielson, unofficial little sister Vickey Hudson, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and another great grandchild on the way.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Free Andrew Nielson and Jessie Chadwick, and her sisters Beverlee Williams and Norma Boren.

There will be a Celebration of Life visitation on Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Memorial Holladay-Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 South Highland Drive, Holladay, Utah 84117.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
