Lucretia Ann Davis Sundloff

April 12, 1934 — August 28, 2012

Lucretia Ann Davis Sundloff "CRE" born April 12th, 1934 to Okey Kenton Davis and Olleva Fitzwater Davis passed away August 28th, 2012 suddenly after a short illness. Cre married her high school sweetheart Duane John Sundloff December 8th, 1951 where their union and life's journey started. For the last 60 years Duane always referred to Cre as his "Bride". They started a life's legacy with 5 children. Claudia Ann Collett (Douglas), D. John Sundloff (Joy), Thomas K. Sundloff (Meladie), Stephen K. Sundloff (Cidnie) and Laura Peay Greene (John). Cre cherished her 15 grandchildren (spouses) and 34 Great-grandchildren. Every day of Cre's life was centered on her family, Duane, her children and grandchildren. She was the daughter, wife, daughter in law (Leone Sundloff Sullivan) mother, sister, aunt & friend who made serving and giving to others her highest priority. Some of Cre's greatest joys over the years were times spent with her 3 sisters. Noreen (Art) Jarl, Edith (Harry) Sneed, Della Mae, (Richard) Horak. She loved all their spouses and children. They were all very important to Cre. Cre always opened her home up for the holidays and summers with amazing gatherings of love, laughter, food and fun. If a party or event needed to happen, Cre was on Top of it. It didn't matter if she was at a football, basketball or baseball game- she was always in the stands cheering her family on. She loved to watch her family ski, attend swim meets, dance & piano recitals, drill team events, and go boating. You name it, she was there with Duane. Her personal interests were many. She enjoyed bowling for years with her best friends. She loved to travel with her husband, her sisters, & some very special life friends, whom all Cre's children refer to as additional Aunts and Uncles. For many years, Cre helped Duane build a successful automotive/transmission engine shop. They both retired from their own small business. As she grew older one of her latest hobbies was compiling photo albums filled with all her family. She invested countless hours putting these together. Cre had a unique ability to draw people to her life- we as family know it's because of her HUGE heart and her ability to love, give and serve. Cre was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As her passing was sudden we take comfort in knowing that our wife, mom and grandma is at peace with the others in her family that greeted her on the other side. Until we meet again, "BRIDE, mom, sister, aunt, friend and Grandma Cre-eam" a
