Lyle Louis Hahn passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026, at the age of 92. He was born on July 14, 1933, in Bottineau, North Dakota, to Louis and Alice Hahn. In 1956, he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where he built a life and made his home for the remainder of his years.
Lyle married the love of his life, Carol, and together they shared 41 wonderful years of marriage. They created a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories while raising their children: Kenneth, Sharon, Brian, and Scott.
A hardworking man, Lyle spent much of his life farming and working as a carpenter. He took pride in honest work and providing for his family. Outside of work, he enjoyed camping, hunting, old western music, dancing, attending rodeos, and dressing well. Lyle had a wonderful sense of humor and was known for his playful nature and ability to make others laugh. His quick wit and love of a good joke will be remembered by all who knew him.
Lyle is survived by his beloved wife, Carol; daughter, Sharon; sons, Brian (Trish) and Scott (Jodi); daughter-in-law, Laureen; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and siblings, Jeanette, Arlene, and Curtis.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth; his parents, Louis and Alice Hahn; and his siblings, Gordon, Marion, and Delores.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Quality Hospice team for the compassionate care, kindness, and support they provided during Lyle's final days.
