M. Lorraine Johnson passed away Monday August 4, 2008 surrounded by a lot of love and her family. Born July 16, 1934 in Clendenin, West Virginia. She came to Utah in 1955 with her husband where she remained and raised her 6 children at the foot of Mt. Olympus (also known as Lorraine's Mountain). Preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, John Clayton Johnson; daughter Debra Lyn; and three loving brothers. Survived by her children Patti (Chris) Phillips, John (Tammy) Johnson, Jr., Robin (Steve) Cowley, Ruthie Naccarato, Steven R. (Samantha) Johnson, Mark G. Walker; sister Ruth Wilson Siegrist, her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to send their heart felt thanks and appreciation to Care Source "Residence" for the care and compassion they shared as our mother made her final journey. Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Utah Veteran's Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Road. Friends may visit with the family at the Christ United Methodist Church, 2375 East 3300 South, from 10:00 to 12:00 noon prior to services.
