Margaret Stucki Christensen

"Beloved Mother"

Margaret Elaine Stucki Christensen, age 85, passed away in her sleep on August 23, 2011. She was a greatly loved and dedicated woman whose influence inspired those she loved.

She was born December 10, 1925 to William Theophil Stucki and Lucy Marie Sorensen Stucki. She graduated in 1948 from the U of U with honors in Home Economics. She married Lynnwood Christensen on August 23, 1949. She returned to the U for a master's degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology in 1977 and worked as a speech pathologist for Davis School District.

Margaret was a devoted member of the LDS church and served in many Church positions. The main love in her life was her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynnwood; sister, Bonnie Gudmundsen; brother, Richard Stucki; son, Scott; and grandson, Andrew. She is survived by her children: Mark (Lorraine), Alan (Beth), Ann (Brent), Elaine (Jaime), David (Janet), Susan (Kelly), and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011 at the Garden Heights Ward, 2220 E. Fisher Lane (2935 S.), at 11:00 am. Friends and family can visit at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 S. 2300 E., Friday 6:00 - 8:00 pm and at the church prior to the service from 10:00 a
