Margery Ann Buehler Mahoney passed away December 24, 2014. She was born, the 6th of 11 children on Feb. 28, 1933 to Zelma W. Shaw and Charles E. Buehler in Midway, Utah. Graduated from Wasatch High and from the U of U with Bachelor and Masters Degrees. She retired from the field of education in 1993. She was a teacher for 3 years and a school psychologist for 22 years. She influenced many students for the good.
She was active in the LDS Church and had a testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. She served in various ward and stake callings and was an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake Temple for many years.
She was active in sports; skiing, tennis, swimming, dancing and walking. She loved to paint watercolors and do pastel portraits. She did portraits of many of her family members. Her art work was accepted into UWS and other art shows in Utah.
She is survived by 3 daughters: April Hochstrasser, Georgia Kay, and Nataunya Kay, 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 6 siblings.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 11:00am at the Capitol Hill 1st Ward, 413 North West Capitol Street, where friends and family can visit 9:30-10:30am prior to the service.
